Continuing to catch up on my big pile of editing, here is a sneak peek into Dilpreet & Sanjot’s reception in Winnipeg. As always, the colours at East Indian weddings are wonderful and in this regard, Dil and Sanj’s evening was particularly vibrant. Sanjot was the very picture of elegance, while Dil was the man of the hour surrounded by his posse of boys. Some faves from the evening:

Halfway finished our move, nearly back up and running again, and trying to catch up on some much needed editing and blogging.
Amanda and Martin’s wedding had some of the widest range of backdrops I can possibly imagine: from street shots in the Exchange, to the literal old school look of Balmoral Hall, to the green of the Leo Mol Gardens, to the quite unexpected but tremendously fun shots in the boxing ring. Everywhere we went we had great light to work with, and Martin and Amanda were fantastically obliging with all the different shots I wanted to do. Lots and lots of cool photos, with just a handful here as a sneak peek:

Blue dress, blue jeans, older sister, younger sister, babysitter, legislative intern, high school student, and valedictorian – Allie wears a lot of hats, but on this day, the hat of significance was her graduation cap. It was fun and challenging to try and capture the many sides of Allie. From the Legislative Building to the Exchange to the studio, we were able to try out all sorts of different looks and feels to her senior/grad pics. Congrats Allie and best of luck with all the future! Some of my favorites:

Wow: 5 days of events + 2 separate ceremonies + 600 guests + 2 lovely families + 1 beautiful couple + over 2,000 photos = Reena & Satnam’s wedding. It was a thrilling and wonderful week of shooting, with each day bringing something new and exciting. Congratulations Reena and Satnam and thanks for letting me be part of your amazing celebration! A small handful of pictures hardly does justice to all the colours, expressions, emotions, and wonder of the 5 days, but here’s a quick sneak peek – I think the rest of the pictures will be worth the wait.

Once again I had the privilege of working with Tara, Karl, and little Hannah – who was now the ripe old age of three. From her love of Rapunzel, to her own flowing locks, to her little rabbit, to the stylish little sandals – Hannah is clearly enjoying her stage of life as a little princess. Always vibrant and full of smiles and affection, she had no trouble working her magic in the studio and then merrily trotted around the Exchange as we wandered about snapping more photos. Great seeing you three again and always a pleasure! A handful from the session:
